Pakho Chau, Cecilia Cheung and other celebrities published posts on social media, quoting from President Xi on "ending violence & chaos, restoring order" regarding recent civil activities & politics-related issues. Netizens tended to react negatively and triggered heated arguments. It was the second post from Pakho after he removed all Instagram posts for being accused of supporting the Hong Kong independence movement. Back in July, the singer was being banned from a music festival and song listing in Mainland China, following his Instagram posts on asking his fans to register for voting.
