Can a KOL be a fence-sitter to approach different audiences?


KOL James Hong is being criticized by publishing different contents on Facebook & Weibo. Vary opinions were found on different social platform from a KOL, but seems it's not appreciated by general netizens. James Hong's Weibo published favorable posts towards pro-Beijing camp while his Facebook expressed support to pro-democracy movement in Hong Kong.

James clarified the incident after two days, saying that Weibo was managed by 3rd party in China and will terminate the cooperation with immediate effect.
